An unfortunate design fault with the cruiser front coil towers is they are prone to bending. This will mainly happen from hard bottom out hits on bump like jumping the car, hitting a wash out at speed or pretending your robby gordan in the baja1000.
So we've designed these braces to help repair and brace the factory front coil towers to keep them firmly in place!
Due to chassis variances and production of this product, some manipulation of the brace may be needed to get optimal fit upon install. Using clamps across the brace is the easiest method to align. Plates don't need to be fully welded to the coil tower, stitched welded is sufficient.
If coil towers are bent, they will require straightening before install. An appropriately placed block of wood and a block n tackle/come along will do the job!

Plasma cutting will leave a thin layer of nitride on the cut edge of the plate. To assist with obtaining the best possible weld on construction, this layer of nitride needs to be cleaned or ground off. If not cleaned up it can be similar to welding over thin paint. All welded options ordered are all cleaned in house before welding, we suggest doing the same with flat pack orders.
