As most of us know, The diff pumpkin is the first thing to make contact with rocks, ruts & other obstacles.
With any factory axle housing, being rather thin material, it only takes one wrong impact to potentially dent the housing and possibly damage the ring gear.
This is where our weld on guard comes in.
With the added bonus of making the diff more skid like & less of a hang up point, without any sacrifice of ground clearance.

PLASMA CUT PARTS
Plasma cutting will leave a thin layer of nitrate on the cut edge of the plate. To assist with obtaining the best possible weld on construction, this layer of nitrate needs to be cleaned or ground off. If not cleaned up it can be similar to welding over thin paint. All welded options ordered are all cleaned in house before welding, we suggest doing the same with flat pack orders.
**PLEASE NOTE**
With any welding to the axle housing, Caution needs to be taken to avoid warping/bending the housing.
This product thanks to variations on factory housings can be a little tricky to line up on installation. Some slight trimming may be required on some housings.
