80/105 LandCruiser - Front Top-Mounted Axle Truss Kit

Front Top-Mounted Axle Truss Kit to suit 80/105 LandCruiser. Braces the factory front diff housing to prevent bending under extreme loading conditions, without sacrificing precious ground clearance on the bottom side of the housing. 

Notably, this kit extends further along the axle housing than bottom-mounted kits, therefore the truss supports more of the axle tube by extending above the radius arm mounts, offering superior bend resistance under heavy and/or shock loading.

4mm CNC GR250 mild steel, cut & folded in-house to ensure ease of fitment.

This kit retains the standard brake line/mounting. Re-use the stock bolt to plug the original mounting hole (recommended to use sealant). Some slight manipulation of the brake line is required to bolt into the new location. Use the included bolt to mount the line back to the truss. (*Remember to tac the supplied nut to the bottom of the truss!*)

Standard and full width options available!

Standard option braces between the factory coil mounts, this option requires no additional work in fitting it to the housing outside of prep/welding the truss and brake line hole.

Full width option requires additional work to fit however also offers further improved bend resistance, making this the ultimate option if maximum strength is your goal! The lower coil buckets on the housing are required to be removed to gain access to install this truss. The full width truss butts up against the main sub structure on the coil bucket, giving you full support from load point to load point on the housing. Once truss is installed, simply weld coil buckets back on, on the short side, bucket may be required to be spun to create clearance.

**PLEASE NOTE**

-Installation of this kit cannot be done with the housing still in the vehicle, removal and stripping is required.

-Be very cautious and considerate of heat warpage when installing this kit. The best way to avoid this, is to hold the housing at either end and apply opposing preload underneath with a small bottle jack before welding.
