Here at Rampt we know suspension! And can admit, the 80s have pretty damn good suspension geometry from factory. But like all things "factory" it can be improved.

So we've designed a long arm kit, to help bring your rear suspension to the next level! Without needing to sacrifice the main fuel tank.

Unlike other "long arm" kits, we move the upper link mounts as well to achieve the best all round geometry figures possible. Short of going down the 4 Link path.

We're able to set the roll/flex steer to almost zero, and have a much happier Anti-squat figure, making your car actually bite and hunt for traction without the rear end wanting to drive under itself!

No compromise, bullet proof adjustable links. Rock solid lower link mounts you can drop onto as hard as you please, all with minimal work!

Couple this with our rear Panhard Riser Bracket and extended Panhard, you'll wonder why it was never built like this from the factory!

Installation is extremely easy, in fact the hardest part of the job is dropping the fuel tank!

The drop brackets for the upper link mounts, slip over the factory mounts on the chassis, and self align via bolt holes. (brackets MUST be welded! "Bolt on" aspect is purely to establish location before welding.)

The new chassis lower mounts self align vertically and horizontally, a simple measurement forwards from factory lower mount for placement.

New links are 300mm longer than factory, made from 2" 7075t6 Solid Aluminium.

Genuine Toyota bushes at the diff end, 1.25" Heim Joints on the chassis end (available in either DFI 3pc or FK brand) with misalignment spacers to utilize the same size factory bolt.

The very first prototype lower arms we made for the 80/105 with FK heims are now over 2.5 years old, with over 38,000k's driven on them, both bush and heim are still in perfect working order and no signs of wear yet! This means you save money not needing to replace bushes every few months for those who frequently go off road.

For those interested in purchasing the mounts by themselves without the links, we're happy to supply the goods! Please select "MOUNTS ONLY" option when ordering.

Kit includes:

x2 new lower link chassis mounts LH/RH pre-welded.

x2 dropped brackets for the chassis upper mounts.

x2 new longer lower links with Genuine bushes, Option of DFI 3pc or FK Heims, and misalignment spacers.

All new relevant mounting hardware.

Lower mounts CNC cut 6mm mild steel.

Drop brackets CNC cut & folded 4mm mild steel.

Commonly asked questions.

Q: What's the difference between DFI and FK heims? A: The difference is the brand itself. DFI are a quality 3piece heim that do the job their built for. FKs are considered the best quality in the world.

Q: Can the fuel tank go back in after install? A: Yes absolutely! The kit is designed to work around the fuel tank, it does need to be removed for install though.

Q: Can I use my factory upper arms? A: Yes you can! The dropped brackets are designed to accommodate the factory arms.

Q: Can i use the lower arms to adjust the pinion angle? A: You can, however (and this applies to factory lower link mounts as well) rotating pinion angle via the lower arms will also move the diff location. We do not suggest this. Use lowers to adjust diff location to tuck the tyre into the guard, adjust uppers to appropriate pinion angle for the best results.

Q: I only have a 3" lift, is this kit worth doing on my car? A: Yes! in fact, we base ALL our geometry figures around 3-4" lifts.

Q: I have a 6" lift, will I see benefits from this kit? A: Yes you will. However, we cannot stress this enough, anything above 4" of lift is not helping your vehicle at all! We HEAVILY suggest to lower it for better results all round!

Q: Would you sell the lower arms and mounts without the dropped brackets? A: Unfortunately no we wont. The dropped brackets are just as important as the longer lowers. Without going into detail, the angled at which the links are mounted (amongst other things) dictate how the chassis will respond to torque. Without the dropped brackets for the uppers the desired result cannot be achieved so therefore we cant offer a sub par result.
