A known weak point in the patrol realm is the rear chassis coil towers.

Heavy loads and heavy wheeling are known to cause issues with these towers bending and cracking which is going to ruin anyone's day!

Our coil tower braces have been designed as a 3 piece kit, the two outer pieces that go over the coil mounts are welded in, and the centre section is bolted in between them. This helps with instillation of the brace on wagons making it much easier with some not needing to raise the cab up at all!

Brake lines only require a small bend for clearance, the fuel lines we suggest to simply cut either side of mount and run new rubber line for ease of install.

Bottom of the body may require a trim on some models.

This is the same brace kit that will be available with our patrol 4link that is used a substitute cross member after the need for removing the factory upper link member.

The 4 bolts that come down on the top of the plate, a hot tip is to weld them in on the top to make them a stud, then no need to fight getting your hand or spanner across the top to access them.

Includes:

-x2 coil sections CNC cut and folded 6mm mild.

-x1 centre section CNC cut and folded 6mm mild.

-m16 hardware for install.

Tip:

For those with slightly bent towers, you can actually use this kit to help straighten them out! slip the tower sections over the towers and weld the very outer edge and the inner edge of the plate, leaving the vertical edges alone for now. bolt the centre section in and tighten up all bolts. If your towers are slightly bent it will pull them down (not perfectly but a decent amount) then weld the vertical sections to keep towers in this position.
